HELP TSUNAMI VICTIMS

World is shocked, our hearts weep. Thirteen countries were hit by the tsunami. So far death toll is likely over 150,000. We may never know the exact number of death. It is now estimated 5 million people in the disaster areas facing grave difficulty getting food and clean water. Urgent help is needed to salvage the victims.

Two ships of the Bangladesh Navy left the Mongla port on Saturday with rescue and medical equipment and relief materials and will take part in rescue and reconstruction operations. Meanwhile, a C-130 Hercules aircraft and a Bell 212 helicopter flew to Sri Lanka to help the tsunami victims.
